Front office (check-in desk) and Medical Assistant
Laura is a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist. She is self motivated and always has an incredibly positive attitude. She is known to be highly reliable and a quick learner with the ability to adapt to new situations. Her other strong attributes include her passion to support patient care and customer service. She is often trying to find new solutions for problems that come up. She is married with three children. Laura is fluent in Spanish.
Elizabeth Alvarado
Certified Ultrasound Sonographer and Front office
Elizabeth is a certified Ultrasound Sonographer who originally joined our staff in the spring of 2014 but moved to N. CA in 2016. She recently moved back to OC and rejoined the staff in the summer of 2018. She is enthusiastic to learn and brings new ideas to our group. She is one of the most thorough ultrasound sonographers that we have ever worked with and we feel fortunate that she is back as part of our team. Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish.
Jerry Tran, B.A., M.S.
Back office
Jerry grew up in northern California and attended college at UCSB earning a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Physiology. He primarily handles the back office duties including processing authorization requests and billing issues. In his spare time, his hobbies include collecting antique coins, maintaining several salt-water tropical fish aquariums, shooting guns, rifles, and firearms; and has a 1,800 gallon Koi fish pond which he built in his back yard containing a collection of Japanese Koi fishes ranging in size from 12" to 24" in lengths. Jerry also has a mixed Cocker Spaniel - Lhasa Apso dog and 3 California Desert Tortoises in an outdoor tortoise pen. It's amazing that he even has any time to come to work. Jerry is semi-fluent in Vietnamese.
